Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

This is the only duty of each and every Christian. To spread the Gospel, the good news to the world. The news about Jesus Christ and his love and resurrection.
When coming to this point of preaching gospel the question will rise in our inner thought on how to? And whom to? This is common for any person who has Christ at his/her centre of life. Because, this world is sin, it is not a good place to live at peace and perform good things. We, being in Jesus, need to fight against the threats in our day-to-day life.
We can't rest and we can't let the sin to take control on us. We are living the life for revealing Christ in us to the world. Once if we keep a sin somewhere in our thoughts, then the fall starts. We are now living like a fish in an ocean, being in the salt and not becoming salty.
Here, the Gospel is the only duty that our Lord provided us to accomplish. And he gave his word that he will be in complete control and he has given the authority. And he is with us, forever. Then, what are we afraid of? Why aren't we able to bring an unbeliever to the faith of Christ in a minute period? Are we lacking something here?
YES! __ we are lacking something, which is the key to spread the gospel and to feel it's impact on whom we shared with.
Our Christ's wonders and miracles are all well known to us being a Christian, but a non-believer is the one, who doesn't even know his name. Then, how is it possible to bring him under the same light in which we are presiding in a single day?
The efforts and hardwork we made to preach him are not making him to drag out from his present belief. Because, he is in it for a very long time. A one night adventure won't save him.
Then, what is it that is able to make that soul to bring to Christ?
I have three things here, which are helpful to us to preach the gospel to a complete unknown. They are...
1)Connection
2)Exposing the lifestyle and
3)Holding
Let's dig in deep__
First thing is the connection, here is where the God's love is shown to the non-believers. Greeting them, inviting and a polite way of receiving them. We can't approach a complete unknown person and start the good news to change him. This is a complete different thing to do, only God can reveal his love spontaneously. We need to connect with the person and then we have to know his life and his habits, moreover we have to wait for the opportunity which God has to provide to open the spirit gate of the person's heart to let our light words light his spirit. Unless God opens his heart, our word will not worth.
The second is exposing our lifestyle. This is the crucial part of the spreading Gospel. It's a test for a preacher and also a test for the non-believer. We have to follow what we preach, the same has to be practiced by the one who is observing us. This is something which is related to the sincerity, if we fail in showing our words in action then the Gospel has no meaning to be preached by us.
The third and final one is holding, here it refers to holding to the word of God, the steadfastness and the perseverance. When we lurk in the hard times, the faith weakness occurs in our lives. And those who came to you to know the Gospel, will automatically wither. We must be strong enough to face the tough.
There are many posts coming in the future on the preaching of Gospel. Stay tuned...
May God bless us all _Amen!
